About Us

Hi! We’re Jordan & Victoria, owners of Tome & Trove. A small, two-person business based in North Yorkshire, creating handmade gift boxes for people who love fantasy books as much as we do.

Each box includes a fantasy book, a hand-made bookmark, and some beautiful drinkware. You pick your favourites, and we put them together to create a unique, personal gift box made entirely by hand.

We started this business because we both love reading and have always dreamed of running a little bookshop.

As busy mums, that dream didn’t quite fit with real life, but this idea did.

It’s our way of sharing that same love of books and stories with others. We believe reading should be more than just turning pages. It’s all about slowing down, making time for yourself, and enjoying the whole experience – from opening a new book to taking that first sip of your favourite drink as you immerse yourself in a new world.

Our book list is a curated collection of some of our favourite fantasy reads, and we’ll keep adding to it as we discover more stories worth sharing.

What can be included in the gift box?

Each box includes a fantasy book of your choice, a hand-made bookmark, and a choice of drinkware. All designed and created exclusively by us. You can choose your favourites and we'll put them together into a beautiful one-of-a-kind box.

We will be frequently adding new books and hand-made products for you to choose from, so keep checking in!

When will my box be delivered?

As all of our boxes are filled with hand-made items, shipping times can vary, however we will dispatch your parcel within 5 working days. If ordering as a gift, please allow plenty of time before the special day.

Where do you ship to?

We currently don't ship outside of the United Kingdom.

However, if you are based elsewhere and are interested in ordering a box, drop us a message – we're always happy to see what's possible!

Do you offer refunds?

Because each of our boxes and items is individually hand-made, we're unfortunately not able to offer refunds. However, your satisfaction means a lot to us – so if there's ever an issue with your order, please get in touch. We'll always do our best to make things right and ensure you're happy with your purchase.

Is it a subscription box?

Nope! Our boxes are one-off purchases — no subscriptions, no commitments, just treat yourself (or someone else) whenever you like.
